Efficient coherent detection of maneuvering targets based on location rotation transform and non-uniform Research Articles

Ke Jin, Tao Lai, Yan-li Qi, Jie Huang, Yong-jun Zhao,jinke_xd@outlook.com

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2020, Volume 21, Issue 8,   Pages 1251-1266 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1900272

Abstract: Long-term can remarkably improve the ability of detection and motion of radar for s. However, the linear range migration, quadratic range migration (QRM), and Doppler frequency migration within the coherent processing interval seriously degrade the detection and estimation performance. Therefore, an efficient and noise-resistant method based on and is proposed. QRM is corrected by the second-order keystone transform. Using the relationship between the rotation angle and Doppler frequency, a novel phase compensation function is constructed. Motion parameters can be rapidly estimated by LRT and NuFFT. Compared with several representative algorithms, the proposed method achieves a nearly ideal detection performance with low computational cost. Finally, experiments based on measured radar data are conducted to verify the proposed algorithm.

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2009, Volume 3, Issue 4,   Pages 422-427 doi: 10.1007/s11709-009-0056-8

Abstract: An acoustic emission (AE) location experiment was performed on sandstone using an advanced AE test system, and the location points changed slowly. There was a modest increase of location points in every cycle. The tendency of steady development could be predicted from the AE location events.Location events changed quite rapidly and assembled and linked continuously in the core zone.

Network-based optimization techniques for wind farm location decisions

Jorge Ignacio CISNEROS-SALDANA, Seyedmohammadhossein HOSSEINIAN, Sergiy BUTENKO

Frontiers of Engineering Management 2018, Volume 5, Issue 4,   Pages 533-540 doi: 10.15302/J-FEM-2018025

Abstract:

This study aims to find appropriate locations for wind farms that can maximize the overall energy output while controlling the effects of wind speed variability. High wind speeds are required to obtain the maximum possible power output of a wind farm. However, balancing the wind energy supplies over time by selecting diverse locations is necessary. These issues are addressed using network-based models. Hence, actual wind speed data are utilized to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed approach.

A Survey of the Observability for Single Observer Passive Location

Deng Xinpu

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 11,   Pages 54-62

Abstract:

A basic requirement for passive state estimation using single observer is the existence of a unique tracking solution.  This leads to the question of observability. The target state is observable over the time interval if,  and only if,  it is uniquely determined by the measurements taken in that interval.  In this paper,  the state-observability problem for passive target tracking by angle measurements is analyzed using three methods: the geometrical method,  the elementary algebraic method and linear system method.  The observability for target tracking with frequency measurements is also analyzed.  Degree of observability is discussed.  And a concise review of papers on observability analysis is presented.

Processing parameter optimization of fiber laser beam welding using an ensemble of metamodels and MOABC

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2022, Volume 17, Issue 4, doi: 10.1007/s11465-022-0703-5

Abstract: In fiber laser beam welding (LBW), the selection of optimal processing parameters is challenging and plays a key role in improving the bead geometry and welding quality. This study proposes a multi-objective optimization framework by combining an ensemble of metamodels (EMs) with the multi-objective artificial bee colony algorithm (MOABC) to identify the optimal welding parameters. An inverse proportional weighting method that considers the leave-one-out prediction error is presented to construct EM, which incorporates the competitive strengths of three metamodels. EM constructs the correlation between processing parameters (laser power, welding speed, and distance defocus) and bead geometries (bead width, depth of penetration, neck width, and neck depth) with average errors of 10.95%, 7.04%, 7.63%, and 8.62%, respectively. On the basis of EM, MOABC is employed to approximate the Pareto front, and verification experiments show that the relative errors are less than 14.67%. Furthermore, the main effect and the interaction effect of processing parameters on bead geometries are studied. Results demonstrate that the proposed EM-MOABC is effective in guiding actual fiber LBW applications.
